In France, net bags are called "filet" (fee-lay) and were originally made for fishermen. Popular in the sixties and seventies, everyone was using them for groceries and shopping. Recently, a French company, based in Normandy - Filt - decided to bring them back. Extremely strong and expandable, made in cotton of the highest quality, they use natural dyes, respecting the environment.
